Reservations and payment method
Inquiries and reservations are accepted through our web pages, by mail, by e-mail, by fax or in person at the reception of our hotel. By reserving the capacity through the Website, the user declares that he accepts these General terms of use of the service in its entirety. All of the information listed below becomes binding both for the users of the service as well as for the Istrian thermal resort. When reserving the capacity the user of the service is obliged to provide all the required information. In order to make the reservation valid, the service provider must guarantee the reservation or deposit or a valid credit card. All services are charged at the reception on arrival. All bookings through the online booking system are considered valid only after confirmation of the booking by the central office of the sale of the Istrian thermal resort. Reservations can be confirmed online, via e-mail or fax. Notification / confirmation of reservation must be presented to the reception desk upon arrival at the hotel.
Tourist tax
In accordance with the regulations governing the payment of tourist tax, the user of the service is obligated to pay the tourist tax at arrival at the hotel. The amount of tourist tax in the Republic of Croatia varies according to the season and the destination you travel. Children under the age of 12 do not pay the tourist tax while children between 12 and 18 years have a 50% discount. The amount of paid tourist tax is clearly stated on the bill that is issued to the user during calculation and payment services.
Other charges
Fixed cost of insurance is paid by all guests in the amount of 2 kn. Insurance is charged per night and is payable when paying rest of the bill. The same goes for the registration. Registration is charged one time in the amount of 4 kn per person. The amount of each cost is highlighted in the invoice issued to the user when the calculation and payment services.
Categorization and description of services
The object and the accommodation units within Istarske Toplice are categorized by the authorized bodies of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
The right of the Istarske toplice to make changes and cancel reservations
Istarske Toplice reserves the right at all times to modify the reservation or the way of providing services, if circumstances beyond our control that can not be anticipated appear to be avoided or delayed. The confirmed accommodation unit can be replaced with the accommodation unit of the same or more categories while maintaining the same price valid at the time of booking confirmation and timely informing the guest about the change. In cases where substitute accommodation can not be found and the reservation is paid in advance, Istarske Toplice reserves the right to cancel the reservation and make a refund of the total amount paid.
The guest's right to make changes and cancel reservations
In case the guest wants to change or cancel the reservation made according on his request, he has to do it in writing (by e-mail, mail or fax). In case the change of reservation is not possible, and if the guest cancels the reservation, are applicable below terms of reservation.
- To cancel the reservation within 7 to 3 days before using the service, the first night is charged
- For cancellation within 72 hours before using the service or in the case of non-arrival, 100% of the total accommodation price is charged.
Commitments of Istarske toplice according to the user of service
The commitment of Istarske Toplice is constant concern about the quality of the service provided, in accordance with the legal regulations, the rules of the profession and generally accepted aspects and customs in the tourist-catering industry. Istarske Toplice will endeavor to fully meet the commitments assumed unless circumstances arise beyond our control.
Customer service obligations
User of the service is obligated to obtain and possess all the personal documentation required on arrival and departure from the units of the Istarske toplice. User of the service is required to check the visa regime between the Republic of Croatia and the country from which he is coming and to check if an additional travel document is required for his entry and stay in the Republic of Croatia.
Justiciary
All disputes or disputes shall be settled in an orderly manner acceptable to both parties, and if there is no solution, the arbitration shall be accepted by the competent local court.
